Outstanding Bed & Breakfast!!! Patti makes is very attentive to all your needs and makes you feel like a friend more than a guest. It also doesn't hurt that she is a great cook. Her breakfasts are delicious and there is always something to snack on during the day. The rooms are very charming and well decorated. You feel more like you are at home than in a B&B.

Patti was wonderful! Our whole stay was really fantastic because of this inn. Breakfast was SO tasty and Patti gave us tons of suggestions for our next day of touring. Wouldn't go anywhere else if I returned to the area again!

My husband and I spent a delicious two nights in July, 2014 at this very comfortable and inviting inn. Patti, the innkeeper, not only makes delicious breakfasts, but made us feel so welcome. She had many suggestions for restaurants and places of interest. The rooms are very clean and attractive. Hope we'll be able to return soon. We especially loved her cookie treats made with graham cracker crumbs and coconut always available on the kitchen counter.

Ok, so I haven't actually spent the night at the Eddington House, but I have toured all of the rooms, eaten breakfast, and sent many a guest to this place. It has all the charm of historic New England with none of the snobbery. Patti & her crew are out to give all guests a personalized, home-stay experience and have gone out of their way to accomodate guests I've sent there. The rooms vary in size/set-up but are all nicely appointed, full of light and have that old-fashioned feel. TVs and other appliances are minimal as this is an INN, a place to sleep and eat breakfast, but not really to hang out. There is a living room area and the breakfast nook, which are great for reading a book/down time. The breakfast I had at the Eddington House was amazing! Patti is sensitive to food allergies and cooks all of the food herself. You're in for a morning treat here. The Eddington House is on Main street in North Bennington, which means that it is within walking distance of everything in this one-square-mile hamlet of a town. Check out Pangaea for fine dining or Kevin's at Mike's Place for burgers and other American fare. Midday you can get great sandwiches at Power's Market.

I LOVED staying here. The woman who runs the B&B is so kind and gracious. There was wine and cheese in the evening, fresh lemon water, coffee and tea, and chocolates in the room, which by the way, the room was beautifully decorated, large and spacious, homey and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable! The bathroom adorable, and windows all around...I stayed in the room downstairs, not sure the name of it. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast waiting for us, and it was sure to be made based on our preferences and allergies. Definitely recommend, and definitely will be returning!

Loved everything about the Eddington House - immaculate, lovely and refreshing place with the most gracious hostess Patti! Would go back in a minute. Great breakfast both mornings, and home-baked treats left out for guests in the afternoon and evening. Beautiful setting, took an evening walk with fireflies everywhere across wildflower meadows.

We had such a wonderful weekend at the Eddington House Inn in Bennington! What a great place and fabulous hostess. Patti makes sure that everything is perfect. She can suggests things to do. We were able to take some beautiful walks and then have a delicious breakfast. Breakfast was so good. The sights within up to an hour around Bennington are beautiful. Make sure to swing by Kevin's for a cheap, great dinner and good beer. What a perfect weekend thanks to Eddington House!

We spent 3 days at the Eddington House Inn in North Bennington. Our suite of rooms was immaculate, cozy and comfortable. Our hostess provided delicious full breakfasts cooked fresh with local organic ingredients. It is in a beautiful location and we were able to walk to the two restaurants included in the package. Both restaurants were wonderful because the food was also made with fresh, local ingredients. We were on the way to Albany, NY for a visit and this Inn was on the way. I heartily recommend staying at the Eddington House Inn if you are in the area or are just passing through.

The Eddington House is a hidden gem in North Bennington Vermont. Patti and Steve Eddington will make you feel right at home at their bed and breakfast.Make sure you spend a night or two at the Inn while visiting the Southern Vermont area

Spent 2 nights here with the BF on a cross country ski adventure. Patti was lovely and helpful, and her breakfasts were a real treat (fruit and yogurt parfait waiting for you when you came downstairs; artichoke, egg, and cheese dish for breakfast with buttered toast). We stayed in Suzie's room which was the cheapest suite but still had an electric fireplace, a separate sitting room with TV & daybed, and also a bathroom located across the hall. The set-up was a bit awkward going to and fro the bathroom, but the overall atmosphere and charm of the place totally made up for it. Patti had great recommendations for places to go, see, and eat (even down to the dishes!) and made our weekend getaway a really lovely trip. Highly recommend this place.
